Default December 2016 Sales Figures vs ACTUAL ORDERED COPIES

I'll just let the rankings talk.
Here is the estimated numbers of each book that were sent to comic shops. (Well, the rankings) (not counting star wars books)

    2- IVX #1
    6- Civil War #8
    9- Hulk #1
    13- Invincible Iron Man #2
16- Hawkeye #1 (impressive , right? NO. wait for it)
    19- Gamora #1 (see Hawkeye)
    21- Avengers #2
22- Amazing Spider-Man #22 (Shouldn't Spider-Man be higher you ask? Wait for it.)
23- Guardians of the Galaxy #15 (oh man.)
29- Rocket Raccoon #1 (see Gamora)
    30- Nova #1 (see RR)
31- Clone Conspiracy #3 (poor Spidey books)
34- Mighty Captain Marvel #0 (see Nova)
    35- Star-Lord #1 (See Cap)
36- Unworthy Thor #2 (this is seriously unfair.)
    43- Champions #3
46- Black Panther World of Wakanda #2
    48- Spider-Man Deadpool #12
    50- Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows #2
    52- Old Man Logan #15
    56- Infamous Iron Man #3
    58- Spider-Man #10
    59- Doctor Strange #15
    60- Deadpool #23
    61- Black Panther #9
63- Captain America Steve Rogers #8
    64- Jessica Jones #3
    67- Venom #2
    68- Avengers #2.1
    69- Mighty Thor #14
    71- Uncanny X-Men #16
    72- Ghost Rider #2
    75- Spider-Man #11
    77- Extraordinary X-Men #17
    78- Thanos #2
    80- Punisher #7
    82- Slapstick #1
    83- Occupy Avengers #2
    87- All-New Wolverine #15
88- Mosaic #3 (oh boy, this is just wrong)
    93- Uncanny Avengers #17
    94- Daredevil #14
    95- Uncanny Avengers #18
    96- All-New X-Men #16
    98- Moon Knight #9
    100- Spider-Gwen #15
103- Doctor Strange Sorcerers Supreme #3
    105- Ultimates2 #2
107- Deadpool and Mercs for Money #6
    108- Totally Awesome Hulk #13
114- Captain America Sam Wilson #16
    120- Black Widow #9
    121- Gwenpool #9
    125- Uncanny Inhumans #17
    128- Silk #15
    129- Spider-Man 2099 #18
137- Power Man and Iron Fist #11
    139- Carnage #15
    140- Silver Surfer #8
    144- X-Men '92 #10
    149- Squadron Supreme #14
    155- Spider-Woman #14
    156- Thunderbolts #8
    159- Prowler #3
    163- Great Lakes Avengers #3
    167- Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #15
    168- Scarlet Witch #13
    174- Foolkiller #2
192- Moongirl and Devil Dinosaur #14
204- Patsy Walker aka Hellcat #13

And here is the ranking of the same books based on how much money they made aka. how much they sold aka. the rank of how many they were actually ordered.
To clarify, the books Marvel sent free copies for will be colored red.

Also to make it easier to understand; Most DC books are 2.99 and all marvel books are 3.99 so when a Marvel book which has way better sales number than a DC book that's 2.99, yet made less money than that, it most likely means free copies were shipped.

(I will not specify the issue number since 1) my hands are getting tired, 2) the former list already has them)

    3- IVX
    4- Civil War II
    11- Hulk
13- Amazing Spider-Man (Basically shows Spidey is still Marvel's topseller, and it won't change)
    16- Invincible Iron Man
    17- Clone Conspiracy
    21- Unworthy Thor (poor guy)
    30- Avengers
    31- Spider-Man/Deadpool
32- Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows
    33- Old Man Logan
35- Venom (it's a crime that the rankings make it seem like this isn't doing well)
    38- Gamora
    39- Spider-Man #10
    40- Champions
    41- Doctor Strange
    42- Deadpool
    44- Black Panther
    46- Captain America Steve Rogers
    48- Hawkeye (seriously)
50- Mighty Thor (man, both Thors sell better than a lot of other characters)
    53- Uncanny X-Men
57- Spider-Man #11 (off topic but that drop is kind of big, isn't it?)
    59- Extraordinary X-Men
    60- Thanos
62- Infamous Iron Man (though it's not nearly as noticable as the rest)
    63- Jessica Jones
64- Guardians of the Galaxy (Marvel forcing Guardians as hard as they can)
    65- Punisher
69- Mighty Captain Marvel (Sorry, she is not happening. Not yet at least.)
    73- All-New Wolverine
    74- Star-Lord
    75- Rocket Raccoon
    78- Uncanny Avengers #17
    79- Daredevil
    81- Nova (that's ridiculous.)
    83- Uncanny Avengers #18
    84- All-New X-Men
    85- Moon Knight
    88- Spider-Gwen
    89- Avengers 2.1
94- Black Panther World of Wakanda
110- Ghost Rider (I guess the hype already died down, awaiting cancellation)
    125- Occupy Avengers (rip)
    133- Slapstick
176- Mosaic (HOLY SH*T, thats more than the number that was actually ordered. Marvel, it's not happening.)
    ------------------------------------------
Pretty much everthing else have the same rankings. Even GLA#3, despite the huge number of free copies shipped for #2, which probably means that Marvel already stealth cancelled that book.

    What does this mean?

    Early cancellations for:

    - Gamora
    - Star-Lord
    - Rocket Raccoon (these 3 Guardians will probably forcably reach 12 issues each but after that they are gone)
    - Hawkeye
    - Occupy Avengers
    - Great Lakes Avengers
    - Mosaic
    - Solo
    - Foolkiller
    - Slapstick
    - Prowler
    - Ghost Rider
    - World of Wakanda
    - Nova
    - Mighty Captain Marvel
    - Ultimates2

In addition to them Spider-Woman is probably ending soon. Same for Thunderbolts. PM&IF.
Silk and Cho-Hulk seems to be on edge.
I'd also expect a new Avengers book next year or by the end of this year.

I really really don't. Her movie is like the 3rd MCU movie I most look forward to, and I like the character despite how CW treated her.

I think it's a matter of feeling like she's being forced on people. CW2 really soured me on a lot of things and unfortunately she was included in them.

I don't think marvel is forcing Carol on anyone I think a lot of people just expected the outcome of civil war ii to be different then what we got... And maybe and I'm assuming this that some readers/people wanted Carol to be ostracized and hated by the world for civil war ii opposed to being universally adored and beloved by the world...I don't know though.

And in I will say this Carol kinda has to succeed inevitably as captain marvel since she's kinda stuck as captain marvel...kamala khan has now made the ms marvel mantle her own now and is and has been quite a success and popular since it debuted despite Carol being the original ms marvel for decades.

The lack of consequences is what did it for me personally, she makes some bad calls(the hulk situation) and nearly kills another hero and...becomes the most popular hero in the world for it, the heck? I read her book prior to CW2 but I'm not reading the new volume and don't plan to check out the character again any time soon at least.

Same despite my annoyance with the negative reaction her character has gotten because of civil war ii I can still understand why people feel so.

I really hope that civil war ii didn't jeopardize Carol's future as captain marvel I know I still honestly believe that no her character isn't destroyed or ruined because of civil war ii and her future isn't put into question....but at the same time I do honestly have a fear that her character no doubt suffered because of civil war ii and it'll take time for the writers being Margaret stohl and al Ewing to salvage what they can with the character despite her actions in civil war ii.

So Marvel overshipped to provide the illusion they're selling more books? I don't understand the benefit in that.
Currently Reading: DC: Shazam /// MARVEL: Daredevil, Invaders, Winter Soldier /// IMAGE: Seven to Eternity /// TITAN: Bloodborne

    Upcoming Reading:

Trade Waiting: IMAGE: East of West, Black Road, The Black Monday Murders /// DARK HORSE: Hellboy, Witcher

No. They did this to promote their books. LCS can give this issues for free and some people will be interested and buy more comics from this series.

I think spencer is setting up how she becomes the most popular superhero in the world with civil war ii the oath and he's a great writer so I don't know maybe it'll be great in how it's handled....

I think marvel really didn't know how to rectify the damage that was done that they just decided to have her become become universally adored and beloved by the world and becoming the most popular superhero opposed to what readers expected or and I'm assuming this that the readers wanted her to be hated by the world.
