    Default Kingpin vs. Joker

Joker's most recent rampage claims the life of one Vanessa Fisk, beloved wife of Wilson "Kingpin" Fisk. Naturally, Fisk wants revenge on the Clown Prince of Crime. Can Kingpin manage to eliminate Joker? (Assume Joker is aware someone is after him, and that this is Fisk at the height of his power and influence, and the battleground is "New Gotham", a sort of cross between Gotham City and Marvel New York.)

    Scenario 1: Batman is present.
    Scenario 2: No Batman.

Well shoot. Browsing the archives, I realize I submitted this exact same scenario a few years back.

If Bat man is there, he saves the Joker as he did against the Punisher. Otherwise, the Joker is toast against an opponent of that level who is genuinely trying to kill him.
    Power with Girl is better.

Fisk makes like Randy Savage and snaps him like a Slim Jim.

Don't see Joker doing too well evading his empire either, not in the long run.

    Agreed.

If Fisk is at the height of his power, he can easily wait until the next time Batman has him captured and then just arrange for the paperwork to come through at Arkham to lobotomize Joker, or at the very least arrange a little accident.

Fisk might be driven insane by the Joker or killed with a surprise attack

It's 50:50 in a scenario, if not favouring Joker . I'm surprised people aren't giving Joker more of a chance . This isn't a straight up fight (in which he also has a chance even against classic Kingpin. Joker packs gas and gear and should be at least as fast...)

In a scenario Batman has legit difficulties even finding the Joker ....don't see how Kingpin is going to clearly outthink a mind that regularly gives Bats trouble
