I actually like that. A lot of people were using "Storm's" appearance on that cover to justify saying that she'll "betray" the X-Men. Can't wait to see the glorious line-up of Polaris, Rachel Grey, Nightcrawler, Xorn and GOLDBALLS.

There is a chance they may have left over memories of the event that cross into the 616 depending of course on how the story goes.

It's very possible! We haven't seen much of what she's capable of post-breakout. But you bring up a good point.

What has happened with her so far anyway? My knowledge goes up to her post death appearance in Necrosha, but I haven't read anything about her since her recent appearances.

In a nutshell.. Wade's been taking jobs to bring in mutants to Umbral Dynamics thinking he was saving them, but instead they were being experimented on. Ellie was one of the mutant "targets" he and the mercs were tasked with bringing in. She was in her home dressed like a normal teenage girl. She has illusion powers and can sort of see the future. When she goes with the Mercs at the end of her first issue, her house disappears, making it seem like her whole life was an illusion. When he comes to that realization, he breaks Negasonic out and her appearance and attitude now more closely resembles her movie persona.

Thank you. I just remember the preview from the first issue she appeared, so it was her avoiding some of Deadpool's Mercs by being ahead of their movements, but I didn't know what happened after.

Yeah, she saw a vision of Deadpool telling her to come with him and he'd keep her safe. So she went with them. Fast forward to an issue or 2 ago and Deadpool is with his nuMercs team breaking her out of Umbral Dynamics.
