So I didn't see a thread on this yet and figured I'd start one. This week Tech Jacket #1 came out! wooo!! I was looking forward to this issue for a long time, and had high hopes, and I wasn't disappointed. Since I'm making the first post I won't post spoilers, but I feel as though this was a solid first issue. The pacing was great, the setup of characters was nice, and different character stories and motivations were established. Agree? Disagree?

I agree. Keatinge and Randolph were excellent on the 3 digital issues and they continue their good work on this issue.

i was tempted to get this just because i really dig randolph's art, but it just doesn't interest me for one reason or another.

I haven't read the digital mini that came out a little while ago but I did order it in trade and waiting for that in the mail. BigLbo, I think you should at least try flipping through it in your comic shop, you may be surprised and may find interest in it.

Yes, #7 and #8 are the back-ups that were in Invincible collected into digital issues (and, now, the volume 2 trade).

So I finished Vol 2 of Tech Jacket. I thought it was a lot of fun, the final villain was a little weird though. Spoiler text ahead, highlight with your mouse to reveal the text.
So the final alien bounty hunter villain litterally dropped a town on top of tech jacket as a display of power, I thought it was odd being that this guy didn't have any noticeable enhancements of his own, like how was he able to fly? Although, maybe I'm looking to into it, this is a super hero comic after all. I just figured in a series where the hero was based on some kind of technology the villains would be as well. Anyway, it seems like Tech Jacket teleported the guy into the sun, it's unclear if he survived or not.
So anyone else read this? What did you guys think?
