    Favorite Ongoing X-Title

Last year the favorite ongoing was the Magneto ongoing. This year, most of the series relaunched, so a whole new take.

    Second runner up....
    Ongoing ANW.jpg
    All New Wolverine

    (34 points, 8 first places)

Giving her the name Wolverine was received with some doubt by many fans, but her stories were told in a great way and the only female solo this year was a succes amoung fans.

    First runner up...
    Ongoing UA.jpg
    Uncanny Avengers Vol.3

    (48 points, 12 first places)

Some still do not consider this to be an X-book, but according to marvel it is a mix of X-men and Avengers (and now Inhumans as well). This year the stories were more X-related the the previous volumes. Now Rogue, Cable and Deadpool played big parts, as well as (the brain of) Xavier.

    and the

    WINNER...
    Ongoing UXM.jpg
    Uncanny X-Men vol.4

    (64 points, 11 first places)

A book of anti-heroes always does good business among us X-fans, previous versions like X-Force and Uncanny X-Force were also well received in the past. Now a group of anti heroes, with Magneto as leader started of with an impressive story against the Dark Riders and as of the first issue, this volume of Uncanny was loved.

    Least Favorite Ongoing X-Title

Last year, the least favorite ongoing title came to me as a shocker, it was Uncanny X-Men Vol.3, the title that followed the adventures of the Revolutionary X-men.

    This year, it different

    Second Runner Up...
    Ongoing 92.jpg
    X-Men '92

    (23 points, 2 first places)

Most expected it to be like the TV-series, which did not feel like that at all to most. The art did not give us a animated series feel and the content.... neither.

    First Runner Up...
    All-New_X-Men_Vol_2_1.jpg
    All New X-Men Vol.2

    (59 points, 10 first places)

Yes, Teen jean, the most hater character of 2016 left the team and fan favorites Oya and Genesis were added. Still, a drunken Toad, teleporting trailer, magical Beast and Apocalypse ruined the title for many.

    and the

    WINNER
    EXM.jpg
    Extraordinary X-Men

    (61 points, 12 first places)

X-Men looking for a save haven in Limbo made people annoyed, then there was the whole Storm as a leader thing, a pet demon for Sapna, Illyana crying and on top of that Apocalypse Wars turned Colossus to a Horseman..?!? It was to much to handle for some.

I'd say Storm as team leader wasn't what turned people off. It was Storm as an indecisive, weak-willed, self-pitying shadow of herself that turned people off.

    Favorite X-One-Shot or Mini Series

Last year, the favorite mini series turned out to be Secret Wars II. This year,....

    Second Runner Up...
    CWII.jpg
    Civil War II: X-Men

    (33 points, 3 first places)

It was a kind of lead in to the current crossover Inhumans versus X-Men, but here it was a clash between the 2 X-men teams, Storms squad siding with Cap. Marvel, Magneto's team wanted to capture Ulysses.

    First Runner Up...
    DOXPLUS.jpg
    Death of X

    (36 points, 8 first places)

Death of X, the mini that was most talked about for sure. I think most loved the story itself, but many hated how it sounded to be and it turned out sooo different. But the mini itself, on it's own, was loved. Especially the Emma parts.

    and the

    WINNER
    UXM ANNUAL.jpg
Uncanny X-Men Annual (The Elixir story)

    (62 points, 15 first places)

So many were upset when Elixir, who was dead already, was brought back to live, only to be killed off again. But this annual made it all worth it. Elixir dug himself out of his grave and had a swing of powers. Now, bringing back to live and killing over and over the one responsible for his death: Gauntlet, the leader of the Dark Riders.

To be honest, after doing a re-read of the main team X-books, I think Uncanny Avengers was the better book and should have earned the top spot, although I can see why people might be reticent to name a book that's not even called X-Men, best X-Men book. I initially voted Uncanny X-Men as favorite myself but switched for UA last minute.

Anyhow, those were the two best team books and deserve the top spots.

Also glad to see Extraordinary Failure earn the top spot for least favorite ongoing X-title. It is much deserved.
I can't recall having ever read a more pedestrian X-Men comic. Gross mischaracterizations, awful dialogue, baffling ideas and no panache whatsoever. People rag on Austen's and Bendis' runs, but for all their flaws they at least entertained. This manure heap couldn't even manage that.

I fully agree it's not about the character but about the terrible treatment she received. Lemire did a terrible job with Storm and this comic very different from the extraordinary one that was promised. On the other hand can not put the whole blame on Lemire another plot about extinction and the fact that he just picked that title for work on Old Logan reflect on the result.

I tried ANX but in the end the fact of not sympathizing with the O5 and the lack of direction of that title made me give up.

These characters decided to stay in the present to be able to do something with the future that they did not approve and wanted to improve but in the end they only jumped from one place to another without destination or plans with each character dealing with their own problems.

Least Favorite X-One-Shot or Mini Series

Last year won by Secret War II: E is for Extinction. This year the least favorite one-shot or mini is....

    Second runner up...
    BLACL IN BACK.jpg
    Deadpool: Back in Black

    (14 points, no first places

Honestly, I did not read this one, so hard for me to judge why it was disliked.

    First Runner Up...
    DOXMINUS.jpg
    Death of X

    (27 points, 8 first places)

This, I think had more to do with the way Death of X seemed and how it was not. Magik fallout towards Sunfire in EXM, the whole Cyclops went to war and is a mass murderer was inaccurate and false. I personally believe that was the part some people hated. But I'm sure there will be people on board saying more about it in the comments.

    and the...

    WINNER
    X-Men_Worst_X-Man_Ever_Vol_1_1.jpg
    X-Men: Worst X-Man Ever

    (29 points, 8 first places)

Bad characters, bad story, bad writing and bad art, that combined made me vote this and as far as i saw from the comments while voting, I was not alone.

X-Men: Worst X-Man Ever this comic chose the worst possible time to be released .

Perhaps if it were not for the complex and the problem involving the inhumans the readers would have appreciated the jokes more.

I didn't know Death of X was this divisive. I thought most people disliked it.

Worst X-Man Ever was great. Can't believe it is disliked more than that pile of garbage Death of X, a poorly told, continuity razing story whose final twist was already deduced after the first issue.

Tastes differ. I think it was the biggest waste on my wallet of the Year.

Quite a move for Duggan to take once reviled (at least on the X-Boards) Uncanny Avengers, and take it to the second rated title. Fully expect a top three finish for him in the Best Writer category.
