So after many years of tearing down marriages Marvel decided to back track on them and give some unmarried characters a shot at some happiness and if you ask me those two are more interesting a couple than than Kitty and Piotr. Maybe Marvel will finally ppoick up Dan Slott's plot points and bring back the real marriage of the century.

the clone saga happened in this reality alright, and Ben Reily existed too, and from what Peter implied, MJ's miscarriage happened too...meaning Annie really is still Peter and MJ's second child.
