But I'm happy to hear the first issue (I assume) did well. I was surprised to enjoy it so much - Houser really paid off the earlier scene with Annie and MJ. I actually ebayed the Reeder variant, because I liked it a lot, and I didn't like the 1:50 variant $50.

Spiders-Man from Earth-11580 (I could be wrong, but I think he might have been created for this series. I've never heard of him before this), who's basically according to the issue, a hive-mind of thousands of Spiders that think they are Peter Parker, is the one who was talking to Osborn.
