Yeah, after Dan Slott lying about wanting to write ASM forever on here for the past few years, I don't really trust anything he's said at this point.

Slott lies about a lot of things, to keep the readers in the dark. Ben coming back, Peter returning following Superior, etc, things he said would not happen and he did.

apparently dan wanted to bring back ben earlier (like maybe around spider-island) but another writer had dibs on ben for a project that never saw the light of day. when it was clear that it wouldn’t eventuate...we got clone conspiracy

Ah, interesting, and Clone Conspiracy makes a lot more sense if one considers Ben Reilly was slated to play a role in Spider-Island before it. Thanks for the info Boots.

Maybe it's because when the sales go low, Spider-Marriage fans hear about it and go buy more copies, then they relax after they go high again, then it goes low again... Loop forever lol.
