Bad, but not the worst. Scarlet Spider has consistently been the lowest selling spider book for a while.

I don't care about ranking. I am bummed to know it's under 20k. Especially because there's nothing special about the book in terms of PR to give it a lease on life. Just the love of fans.

Another solid issue of RYV, with MJ and Annie getting some focus as MJ finally tells Annie all about Ben Reily and how she lost Baby May!

Meanwhile though, if that development in the main ASM book is what it looks like (and not a Mysterio fakeout) then RYV's death warrant was just signed.

Would anyone want to see Annie on a new version of Web Warriors?

That might explain what's happening with Spidergeddon.

    Though I hope not.

That was a beautiful moment between them.

    Been thinking about that myself.

Not really. Team series when you're only there for one of the characters rarely pan out that well.

Enjoyed 21, I don't mind the art but I miss Stegmans touch.

He is killing it on venom though

This is a great book for those who started in the 90s and has zero push from Marvel yet still does well enough.

Like Sinister getting involved and maybe Ben shows up.

Hope not too, MC2 was allowed to share in the last decade or so of the marriage in 616, and I doubt the daily strip is going anywhere unless Stan kicks the bucket (let's hope not there either)

If Spidergeddon messes with things, I can see maybe Annie coming over to 616 or being adopted by Mayday's family (who already has an alternate world Uncle Ben in their midst) , I'd much rather just have the title rested until Spencer's through with Peter and MJ (that is, if he does not intend to restore the marriage)

Just an idea, but I believe the other clone that appeared in this issue (the male one) could actually be a male version of Annie. I mean, I don't think Mr Sinister managed to get DNA from Peter, and the Jackal is practically the only one obssessed with cloning both Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy.

Kind of an inversion of Ultimate Jessica Drew, I'd suppose.

Pulling from Spider-Gwen too. In the Spider-Women crossover, it turned out Earth-65 Jess Drew was a man.
