From the early DC solicits monthlies are back at $3.99, while bimonthly are staying at $2.99 (or $5.98 considering how you approach it) for now.

Guess I'll drop New Super-Man. It won't survive at that pricepoint anyway.
Well...The price thing lasted longer than I expected at least
So they couldn't even hold the line at $2.99 for a year huh
We need better comics
Well that's disappointing.
Pull List: Daredevil, Radiant Black, Rogue Sun, No One, Time Before Time
“We never lose our demons. We only learn to live above them"
I don't mind it since the price increase only applies to monthlies. I mean did anyone really believe that the prices were gonna stay that low? Something has to give and businesses have to make money only a matter of time before the weeklies go up. Rebirth has been so good that I don't even mind.
I guess it's the only way to beat out Marvel for the month.
Pulling:
Batman, Detective Comics, The Sentry, Mister Miracle, Venom
Some of those books if not all will have back ups...I can't remember which ones but here's Hatley for sure https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/01...tarting-april/
And then there were none...

I really hope this doesn't have a negative effect on sales. Especially since Titans and Trinity, 2 of my favorite Rebirth books, are monthly.
This is gonna lead to me dropping most, if not all, of the 3.99 books. Then I will be sore about it and will end up dropping some of the twice-monthly books, too, I just know it.
Bummer.
Well, at least the double-shipping books are still 2.99...
Books struggling are going to take a hit for sure. Monthly comics are just too expensive. They need to sell digital subscriptions at a reasonable price. If I continued to follow all the books I liked at full price I'd go broke. The answer isn't raise the price on stuff already selling lower numbers. It's gonna look great when they cancel Cyborg before his movie comes out.
Well guess I'm dropping anything that is going monthly. I like the price point and the bi monthly schedule, I think its the way all comics should go honestly.
I'm not surprised by this move. It was only a matter of time but considering the double shipped books are still going to be $2.99 I'm okay with it. I don't plan on dropping any of my monthly books at this point because I've been enjoying them enough to continue paying for them at $3.99. I pay that much for my YA and HB books as well as the ones from Valiant so its not really a deal breaker for me.

Supporting LION FORGE COMICS and other independent publishers.
Check out Lion Forge's Catalyst Prime Universe. Its the best damned superhero verse in comics. Diverse characters and interesting stories set in a universe where anyone can be a hero. And company that prides itself on representation both in the comics themselves and in the people behind them.
Oh my goodness gracious! I've been bamboozled!
