For purposes of this match-up the Highlander can be either Connor or Duncan (but not both). He has his katana.

Deadpool has his swords but no guns or grenades.

The fight takes place at night on the roof of the former Silvercup Bakery building in Queens, New York.

Which immortal swordsman manages to decapitate the other first?

Depends on the continuity. Movie immortals have even better healing than Deadpool, recovering from being riddled with bullets in moments, whereas Deadpool was walking funny from one bullet in the rear.

TV immortals suffer temporary deaths almost as easily as humans. Shoot them even once, and they typically die and come back after an ambiguous but substantial period of time. Typically there is a fade-to-black, and afterwards the Immortal has been buried, or moved to a different location, or tied up, or any number of things that require substantial amounts of time.

I figure the Immortals have way more experience, not just in swordfighting, but in using decapitations as finishing moves.

I'd go with MacLeod. He's used to defending against decapitating strikes because it can actually kill him, while Wade treats that as a temporary inconvenience.

Duncan's fought someone with super-speed; little-remembered since it was in The Source. He needs PIS to save his ass at the end, but didn't get instantly demolished.

Then again, Wade's fought Daredevil before without getting instantly demolished. That's heaping SMvFL right there, so I'm not entirely sure where to put Duncan's fight.
