    I've seen this at the Chicago Art Institute! The entry for the work on the web site says it made its debut there and it remains on display there.

    Purple Rain.... Purple Rain.....



    There's a Batman and Robin 'Flamingo' cover homage to Purple Rain as well. While I loved that story, the Batgirl cover is the superior homage imo. Love it! :-)
