It seems like it to me, but like any of these contests, an individual flavor and use of the theme may gather votes. DD may have a different opinion, though.

For those who missed it in my initial post:

For this week's contest, any cover that features the greatest month of them all (ahem! ) is welcome here. Extra points if the word "June" (or even a person named June) pops up multiple times. If you can actually find a June-in-January moment (i.e. a summer-like area in the middle of a snowy tundra), even better.

So it's more than just the publishing date. In fact, one of you may think of something that could fit the contest theme (June in January) that I haven't thought of (which has happened already).

Tough week this week.... Still waiting for someone to really knock it out the park with a cover featuring the elusive superhero Captain June living in Junetown with her trusty sidekick Juney Junior that's somehow evading all Google Image searches.....! :-)

It's the same as it has always been with earlier contests, IM. Every voter makes the call in the end. I know I'm surely not going to tally up points around here. With that said, if I see a cover with the most criteria covered in the rules, that will sway my decision in regard to my own vote. Just that simple.
