Man, this was a tough one. With that said, IMO, Tami wins it by a nose over a few very worthy selections.

    Thanks to everyone for contributing!

I'm voting for Chicken Pocket , I was looking for a Savage Land cover with some Antarctica showing. He found one and it's Buscema/Palmer with a June date no less.

    My vote goes for Tami

Not only does it feature the Earth 2 Superman and Lois, but it's unique with the two June cover dates.

The cool thing about the Savage Land in this respect is that the meanings of June and January are reversed. We and our Northern Hemisphere privilege.

I wasn't going to mention it, but since you bought it up. I have this reaction anyone chooses a seasonal theme, because it's always the opposite season for me.

A well deserved victory Foxley. The 2 clear June references in your cover literally put you head and shoulders above all other competitors!!! :-)

Congratulations to Foxley, for the multi-referencial cover. He should get added points for the mention of Kirby, no one noted. In any case, a fine victory.

As to what I've learned this week, the Captain was taken by surprise and out of his league this week. Also the use of the theme being mentioned on the cover threw me. That's usually the kiss of death. If I've learned anything from this, it's that expanding your interests can help in this weekly battle of covers.
