"A challenge to pit creator versus creator, not only to see whose vision best captured the spirit of "King" Kirby's work, but also to learn who could create the best story traps for the other writers to escape."
An awesome first issue! Always love seeing Giffen's Kirby-like art on one of the King's characters (I highly recommend OMAC to any Kirby fans and/or anyone who just enjoys Silver Age craziness). I loved the little cameo by Kirby himself! But the real jaw dropper is the next chapter. Eaglesham took his art to another level for this one. Absolutely beatutiful stuff. Plus Abnett delivered a pretty good cliffhanger.
