How was this title?
It sounds like something I would really like but I cant find any reviews about it.
I would like to see how the art is on this before I order the first tpb.

I think it's good. If you're familiar with Wood's other creator-owned work you shouldn't be disappointed. It's more of an anthology series with issues and/or arcs focused on vikings from different periods and locations. As far as art goes, he collaborates with some of his familiar co-creators, and it tends to fit the tone of the stories well for the most part.

thanks. I have a lot of stuff I am looking out for when out and about this is just one I thought might suit me.
I really need to find a good preview of the art on this one.

Google artist name followed by name of series. Just don't look too hard so you don't spoil anything.

Even with the various artists i believe the series used the same colorist throughout which helps keep the tone consistent imo.
Wood also has an image series called Black Road out now that is similar in tone and deals with some of the same themes.

Comixology is great for checking out art on books. There is usually three preview pages of every issue. Just don't give in to the Devils comic medium though, keep buying those physical books

Northlanders is indeed 50 issues long. Black Road has 6 out as now.
