It honestly should be Tempus. Who's a mole on the team working for Adult Cyclops from the past and this book ends its run with her returning the O5 and thus redeeming herself for the malloy debacle. I'd throw in my picks:

Pixie A great character who has served on the "grown up" teams before and I think would fit right in with the O5. She's cute, fun, vivacious but also a tough kick-ass X-Man when the need arises. Story wise Megan could serve as a natural love interest for Scott (having had an infamous crush on his older self), she has ties to occult magic that Hank's started dabbling in and logicistally she'd be great as team transport (sorry Pickles). I think her status as being the new fresh X-Man for a stint also contrast with and reinforces some core themes with the others being out of time.

Good call. Oya should stick around too.

Hope, because if they're doing a Phoenix this with Jeen, I'd like to see them interact. Also, I ignore AVX... She actually could've been a great character if she was played out in just the X-Men comics.

The Stepfords are a favourite of mine since New X-Men. I enjoy that they now have different personalities now.

A time-displaced teen Sage would be great. Wasn't she technically part of the X-Men in the early years? Could she not have been pulled forward in time too?

I honestly don't see why Oya left. Was it just so it could be marketed as an "O5" book? Because she really fit in Hopeless' All-New X-Men and I liked her dynamic with Bobby. I like Armor on the team because I'd like her mentoring the team. Also, Magneto and her butting heads over how to handle situations that arise could be a real treat.

Surge or Transonic, but preferably Surge. This team needs a speedster, and I'm betting Surge is disillusioned enough with the X-Men at this point to at least try working with Magneto.

But it'll probably be Pixie because of her teleporting powers. Those are really plot convenient.

I'd kinda like to see Kymera, Storm's daughter. We have Rachael and Storm in Gold, so it would be interesting to see how teen Jean and Kymera's relationship would develop.

Anyone that makes this team a little less white. It's bad enough we have to endure 60s nostalgia in 2017, we don't need to revert to that time's lack of representation.
Armor as the mentor would work really well. Surge would add more spark and personality. Dust would bring a much needed new perspective and background.
Heck, the Tempus idea sounds great and would provide an easy way to return the O5 home.
