Agreed. When I saw the suggestion of Plastic Man and The Creeper, I thought how could this possibly be better? The answer came immediately.

    The Creeper and Elongated Man!

    YES!!!!

Not to mention DC Comics Presents.

Brave and the Bold the classic pairing of Batman with various heroes and DC Comics Presents teaming Superman with various characters.

I would also love to see a modern take on the Superman/Batman/Robin World's Finest series.

Our tastes almost couldn't be more different. This was my least favorite Ray Palmer. My favorite Ray/Atom stories are the old team-ups with Hawkman and Sword of the Atom and his long membership in the classic JLA. Apart from Identity Crisis of course which is far and away my favorite JLA story and Atom story, even if he was a somewhat peripheral character. And I KNOW we part company on that one!

I'd like to see Raven & El Diablo team up.

Batman(Bruce Wayne) vs Kanto(master of weapons, gentleman assassin) then forced to work together.

Not sure about Carter, but Pre-COIE Katar showed up in the Batcave one morning back in the 70s. He and Bruce discussed some current case over breakfast in the Cave. The two also co-starred in # 139 and # 186 of the original run of THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD.

I wish I could recall which comic it was. Batman had just returned from another night of patrol duty in Gotham, and was surprised to find Katar (of all people) waiting for him in the cave. Bruce asked Alfred to bring breakfast for two, and then, eager to know why Katar was visiting in the Batcave so early in the morning, copped a pun that I'm sure Bruce got from Dick and told Katar to "spill it...and I don't mean your orange juice!"

It was in DETECTIVE COMICS, the Calculator story that threaded through 'TEC for several issues, written by Bob Rozakis, with the whole bunch of them ultimately coming together to take on the Calculator. I could tell you which issues, but I'll let you have the fun of looking it up.

Hawkman also teamed with Bats in B&B 139, 164 and 186. But they didn't team-up very often, other than in the JLA.

Let Lois have an underwater adventure. Or let Mera have an above water adventure. Let Lois have an interview too. I want to read this!

Ooh, the League's 'bookends,' both past and future, original inspirations (like Alan Scott and Jay Garrick, in particular) and grown-up sidekicks (Nightwing, Donna Troy, ginger Wally, etc.) united. That could be quite interesting.

Wally West and Jessica Cruz would be cool. I think she'd even like him more than Barry, but of course I'm biased.

As Barry did after his return in FINAL CRISIS, Wally has quite a list of people to meet in the REBIRTH DCU. New heroes and villains have emerged in the years that he was away.

Actually the "bookends" would be JSA and Legion of Superheroes. I'd love to see another team-up with them.
