If you are considering going to the Philippines it might be a good thing for you. You can continue to search for jobs from there through internet and be away from the environment you don't like. What is your major?

Spent the day working with cement moldings; I'm doing a seasonal sequence of the green man that will be one of the raffle prizes at our Relay for Life fundraiser. I will find out if the cement mix is right in 48 hours when I pop them out of the molds.
    What have I always believed?
That, on the whole, and by and large, if a man lived properly, not according to what any priests said, but according to what seemed decent and honest inside, then it would, in the end, more or less, turn out all right.

My brother and sister saw/heard the Mermaid: Body Found program and commented about sirens being real. I told them the documentary was fake.

    Oh, brother.

It's entertainment, I said, but my brother kept saying the former NOAA scientist was telling the truth.
I found the NOAA quote where they said the whole thing with the two rogue scientists never happened.
He said the hadn't denied that he had been employed by the NOAA.
I Showed him Snopes and 2-3 articles on the faux-mentary and he said it was possible that it was two viewpoints on a real phenomena.
I had to fish out the name of the actor who played the 'former NOAA scientist,' so he could believe that the entire Mermaids program was pure entertainment.
Then he went on how he didn't believe mermaids were real, but on how the scientist believed he was telling the truth.

Sometimes I really, really hate my brother.

My condolences, man. Hope it departs sooner rather than later. Depression's a... word we're not supposed to use here anymore.
    It's a good, hearty Anglo-Saxon one. Robust.

Jared took it over for a while, but he's not on much these days, so if nobody has any objections, I might step in.

If Jared still wants to do it, I'm sure we can share. We're good at sharing.

You can thank my daughter, her inability to stay in bed and her liking of lying sideways across my bed for my appearance on the boards at this hour.
