Watched the first two episodes of the X-Files miniseries, the pilot episode of Lucifer, and now, I'm enjoying the original Outer Limits.

Mrs. Banks and I watched the Lucifer premiere last night. I enjoyed the hell out of it, and I'm pretty sure my wife has the hots for Satan now.

Meanwhile, I returned to work yesterday after two days off due to Saturday's blizzard. I must say it felt good to get out of the house.

I got a new ear mold the other week which has been painful as hell so I'm going in next week to either get it fixed or a replacement, which is annoying.

man, just thinking,,,I'm a diagnosed Asperger, and sometimes I feel a bit cold and soul-less for today's nerd scene. I loved Force Awakens but I've not really got much interest in seeing the new Star Wars cast sing acapella, or the GOTG cast dance together, or seeing Vin Diesel do some cute song. I just don't have that same appreciation for nerd celebs being "cute" that everyone else has. I 'm not saying that's a good thing, I know there's something wrong with me. I just want to watch the films, but I don't feel I have that same sense that the actors are my friends that all my nerd friends seem to have.

I don't have Asperger's (I think) and I never got that either. Actors are the people they're pretending to be, to me. I don't care one way or another about them as people, just their role. I'm always a little frightened by people that so heavily identify with actors and/or fictional characters that they talk like they're friends or that they know them. It makes me think they can't separate fantasy and reality.

well it is always about trying to make actors more human and shit, and I find it nice, however, I rarely care, but tbh i rarely even know the names of the actors, because I just do not follow them and their actions around. not enough time. i follow directors, but only with their artistic work, and i know tons of things about models, but still rarely find their "off-cut" videos extremely amazing.

however, I hope you feel comfortable in your own skin, and you should not feel guilty or worse just because you do not have the same reaction as some other people might have.

I don't like to know more about actors who play characters I like because finding out about their dumb opinions and human flaws kills the magic for me. I had a big crush on Alyson Hannigan because she played Willow on Buffy, but I made a mistake when I read an article where she stupidly suggested testing drugs on prisoners instead of animals.
