If someone actually likes something, there's no need to crap all over it or wish it gone forever.
If you aren't reading it or buying it it shouldn't bother you.

    Just how I see it.

That's how it is with comics.
At the end of the day status quo will always be restored.

Whether that's a good or bad thing is up for debate.
Agreed! But I do believe it is are duty as fan to be vocal about what works and what doesn't work and what we want and don't want. I don't expect them to do everything we command nor should they but I do expect them to always keep there ear to the ground and that's were we come in. I am a bit of a masochist so I can't judge or review anything without actually experiencing it with my own eyes.

Over the years I've come to terms with publishers and writers telling the stories they wanna tell.
If I don't dig it, it's just not for me and I move on.

Better than stressing out over your favorite character being "ruined" which I now think is impossible.
To me ruined is just a angry way of saying "a take on the character I don't care for."
I don't like being angry, so I guess that's why I have the mind set. lol

The thing that upsets me about this movie is that it's a great story. That's underserved by the budget and editing. And also the inexperience of some of the actors.

With the amount of Horror Movies I have watched over the years, it might as well be Oscar material.
This is what I get for being raised on Full Moon and Troma films.

    Don't get me started.

Thought I'd check out The Quiet Ones based on the cast and the fact that it's based on an actual incident that had an interesting premise. Total boredom!

Although, having seen some **** with parenting and divorce over the last few years, The Brood is still banging.

I like to double bill it with Sundown: The Vampire In Retreat. They seem to dovetail nicely.

Can you imagine what the Bond franchise would have looked like if it had started with him instead of Connery?

A whole lot more punchy, that's for sure. Not that that's a bad thing.

I was pretty sure I never wanted to run into a drunken Reed in an alley somewhere. One scary basitche.

The Quiet Ones was my last straw with the current exorcism trend going on right now. Such half assed effort being put into these things. It's almost shameful.

We do need a lot more body horror.

I'm sorry, but that's dumb. It was a good story, a really good story, which is more than can be said for an awful lot of stories (and a lot of awful stories) featuring the real honest to gosh Peter Parker.
