Thanks MTR. Funny how when you're new to forums you triple check even really short replies to make sure you didn't type something dumb. LOL

I have loved comics since I was old enough to read but don't really collect...but am intrigued by how the super hero genre has become more 'mainstream'.
It's very fun to talk here, lots of interesting people. It used to be rougher here in the past, before the reboot as they call it.

And if it's fun, I don't see any reason to be anything but nice to others here

Which comics and superheroes do you like?

I think yesterday he mentioned something about biting his tongue, too.

I'll try to remember my manners around the good Doc. I have always been more attracted to the DC Comic characters, but there are several Marvel characters that I like as well. I've always liked the team stories best...JLA, JSA, LOSH as well as the Fantastic Four, the Avengers and X-Men. I know I've missed a ton of stuff that has happened in both Universes, so I guess I'm kinda playing catch up on some of the reboots/retcons and stuff...
So I guess I'm kinda using some of these threads as a crutch to help ease into the new stuff.

I'm a big fan of X-Men, did you watch the Days of Future Past movie?

Catching up... it's something I started months ago and still catching up. And that's only with X-Men. Do you plan to try catching up on all your interests?

I haven't seen it yet..I am going to, just been crazy busy lately. I would like to keep up with most of them, but am starting to think that's a bit much to handle ...maybe I'll start with one or 2 and go from there.
Thanks for the soap tip Cotton. I'll keep a firm grip on it in the shower...(that kind of sounded a little more perverse than I intended for it to..LOL )

I'm more of a DC guy myself, loved Kyle as the GL, JLA has always had my interest, the old Batman and Nightwing books, but I like Cap, Hulk and the old US Agent stuff too

Yes ma'am, suffering tonight, I worked 16 hours yesterday, went home and took about a 5 hour nap and I'm less than 2 hours away from finishing my normal 12 hour shift.

Are you enjoying your weekend so far?
