Ohayo gozaimasu, my little punishers! I hope all is well with everyone. We got a good soaking overnight in the Philly area, and we figure to see more rain from Thursday night through the weekend as Tropical Storm Joaquin comes calling. That forecast came after I heard a weatherguesser say yesterday afternoon that we can use the rain. Maybe I'm being irrational, but it seems to me that every time a forecaster says "We can use the rain", the end result is almost always a deluge, then we have to worry about flooding, especially down at the Jersey Shore which had already been battered. Most annoying!

I saw this loud american guy today who kind of rubbed me the wrong way, buying Magic the Gathering packs in a bookshop here in the UK. He was just kind of barking orders at the woman employee helping him saying "yeah get that one" , not explicitly rude, but kind of smug and demanding. He had an expensive snowboarding ish outfit on, and this self satisfied,sure of himself, look...he just looked like the kind of person who never wonders about life or thinks about anything, just happy his role in life is to wear expensive clothes and buy expensive "Magic" packs.

Well, for folks who live on the east coast like me, I'm sure stomachs are just a little tighter than normal this morning as Joaquin is now a category 3 hurricane with no certain forecast as to what sort of track it will take, especially with forecasts having it making landfall anywhere between the Carolinas and Chesapeake Bay. For certain the New Jersey shore will probably face some trouble from Joaquin, and they've already had problems from a recent storm having caused beach erosion. Ahh, hurricane season, I hate it.

Well, I am going to a Japan Festival today! It will be awesome because a WHOLE floor in a 4 floor building is dedicated to Anime and Manga! I don't care if I sound like a weeaboo, I am HYPED!

Ok, I just got back from the festival. Last year it was awesome, this year it SUCKED. There was only like 5 vendors there and 4 of them were tiny booths in nearly vacant classrooms. There was half the people there than the number of people there last time, barely any interesting panels, overly priced stuff, it was a mess. I didn't like it at all.

I had a nice funny proposed thread made. But I sorta thought....I better hold off awhile on it. I started to call it , "I'm Losing Interest In Eyeing Women as Sex Objects" . Where I discuss being a teenager and checking out naked women online. And how my life has changed and It no longer drives me.
