I love Man Of Steel!
Upon further review, Green Lantern was a stink bomb. And Superman IV was horrendous, especially when it came to the crappy special effects, hell, in one scene, you could actually see the wires holding Christopher Reeve aloft.

What are you talking about? There was never a movie called Superman IV. No sir, it was all just a bad dream. Just a bad dream...just a bad dream...just a bad dream...
*sits in corner rocking gently*
I'm pretty sure Superman II was the last Superman movie made, right?

More comic book train wrecks come to mind....
The Punisher with Dolph Lundgren
Supergirl starring Helen Slater
Both extremely cringeworthy.

doesn't mean it's not enjoyable tho.
for "bad" tho. . check this out:
(the trailer makes it look . ..OK. . but them oh my, when you start to watch it and the Benny Hill sound effects start. . . .HORRIBLE.
worst Super-Hero film in the past 30 years. . .just awful, awful, awful. . . . yes, even worse than Mystery Men).

it was absolutely shocking to me how awful this was when I caught it on Cable the other night. Look at this cast!
Tom Sizemore, Doug Jones, Christine Lakin, Danielle Harris, Adam West, Michael Rooker, Chris Owen, Clint Howard, Tommy 'Tiny' Lister, Justin Whalin, George Stults, Sam Lloyd.

Agreed on Superman IV. . but I didn't think "Green Lantern" was awful. The worst it can really be accused of is that it's boring in places.
(ok, ok, MOST places. . . but still. . it's an OK film. Not nausea inducing as "Catwoman" was (true story, I had to leave the theatre to vomit during "Catwoman" due to the sweeping camara shots. . in particular the one swirling around the desk)
scenes like THIS one. . the camera NEVER stops swooping and moving (not even in scenes when people are just standing around talking).

Someone mentioned a Swamp Thing movie in one these types of discussions recently. I can barely recall the film or if it was any good or not. I was very little when I saw it and remember being really afraid of the monster and closing my eyes.
Personally I have a gauge for film production quality. I weigh the end product against the budget and noted skill of the crew involved. So in my view if a film has a barren budget and the crew is noted for not being very skilled a don't skew the film as terrible but rather just "B". Likewise if the film has a large budget, is with a big studio and has a noted cast and crew but the end result comes out shoddy and riddled with flaws then I rate it as a " bad " movie.
I make love, you make me sick.
I'll try to look for the Barb Wire movie and see if it's good.
Avatar threads for Independents and Image should be incoming soon. I'll gladly do Project Black Sky ones then but if you and any other fans of the series could be prepare to have stock art for me to work that would be great as I'm not familiar with the series. Or if you get me images beforehand I can get some done and store them on my hard drive for now as well.
