It is not really about it getting along.

Partly it is about it being too much. It is like having a huge party. Not everybody is in the same conversation, that would just be too chaotic and too noisy. So they usually break off into small groups having different conversations. Only that is not allowed here.

It also cuts down on the variety of conversations. If somebody wants to start a general silliness thread, well, you can't anymore. And with them being stricter about not going off topic in other threads...just seem really boring to me.

Well yeah, but I haven't done poster battles in a while. If Chou or someone comes in here we could get a multi page THING going.

Also. Sorta-uncomfortable-anti-integration vibes going around. It's funny, in a "Don't put us in the same car with them" kind of way.

You know what the issue is, the Chat Thread exists in this part of the forum only, if it was stickied at the top of every sub-forum, it wouldn't be such a mental distinction.

I don't think so, because it would still be me talking about my giant "sword" the X-board posting about how awesome Scarlett Witch or Storm is, and Rita posting Godzilla and Cat stacks.

I'm guessing it will integrate here or not, and stickying it everywhere wouldn't really change anything.
