Well my buddy Hod who posts here is into cricket. But that's the extent of my knowledge of the game.

My knowledge of cricket is more, mostly influenced due to having family from India (albeit a couple of generations via Suriname) who are into cricket and listening to the Bugle and therefore also getting Andy Zaltzman's The Greatest Test podcast.

Good luck to you! What kind of job are you hunting for?

Thanks! I'm not looking for anything in particular. Here in town, they're often looking for waiters, cleaners, light production work, so I'm hoping I can snatch one of those so I can secure my financial situation a bit.

In the meantime, I'm thinking about setting up a project of my own, in the direction of teaching Dutch. But that's still in its infancy.

How have you been, anyway? It seems that I see you around all the time since the forum reboot, but haven't talked to you lately.

3. The Flash (I love Cary Bates work on some of my favorite characters, and I prefer Barry to Wally)
4. The Flash (Wally West this time, starting with the William Messner-Loebs run, particularly when Linda Park was introduced)
5. Any Spider-Man title

Anime & Manga:
1. Vagabond
2. Great Teacher Onizuka
3. Fullmetal Alchemist
4. Captain Tsubasa (any version)
5. Eyeshield 21

Movies (Number 1 is steady, the rest are interchangeable):

I attended a lecture on the California Condor last night. Fascinating bird with interesting social dynamics, and I had no idea that their range when Europeans crossed the continent was from Baja to what is now British Columbia. Now it is limited to just 150 birds in the wild.

I am doing okay! I sit in front of the computer more lately since the rainy season started last week. Work is ok, life is great! And you?

I've actually been looking into getting a summer job myself before classes start up again in the fall. I already applied to several movie theaters and am waiting to hear back from them.

Must be a majestic sight to ever have the opportunity to see one in the wild. Golden eagles are impressive enough already, but a 10 ft. wingspan?

Having so few of them left bodes ill for their gene pool. Did the lecture say anything about any recent developments in their preservation?
