Howdy, folks.

As you might have noticed, we've eliminated the chat threads on the various other boards, as we felt that having dedicated off-topic discussions on each board leads to a fractured, almost tribalistic sense of mini-communities where it was almost like an "us" vs. "them" atmosphere on what should be just one big forum. Just having them all moved to the same board really doesn't change that, it just puts them all on the same board. So instead we've decided to just have one general chat thread for all of CBR's forums.

We understand that this is a bit of a culture shock, but you'll still be able to talk and interact with your old friends from your respective boards, you'll just be doing it in a thread with other people from different boards. Hopefully you'll make new friends, as well.

The rules for this thread are the same as they are for the rest of the forums, just you can talk about anything without worrying about staying on topic.

Whoa - a bit bigger of a direct change. I do understand the intent and the hope of what this will accomplish, Brian.

This is just getting weird. Not to be rude or anything, I want my Rita's group only, nothing against the other groups, but Rita's is family. We each need our own areas, it was not a "tribe". I honestly do not know what to do here. We had our things in Rita's we knew what the other was referring to, not everyone will know now.

Joedocwife, you are an awesome person that I am thrilled to have met through Joedoc and Rita's. In fact, Rita's is awesome. This is going to be a bit scary because there will be a lot of new people who don't know us. That being said, there are other awesome people who were in the other chat threads who feel the same way, that are going to be really cool to get to know. Let's give it a chance, and if it doesn't work, we will figure out something else.

Afterall, SuperE already has fans here, so our new friends clearly have good taste.

I like things, not so into stuff.

And what hurt that....too much Vince McMahon feeling he needed to be in control. He crippled what could have been a great thing. Because he wanted too much control.

It worked best when the guys could cut lose. Once they became more mainstream, like WWE, it went down hill. Glad they kept Extreme Rules, but with this PG era, it isn't like it used to be.

After that last thread deletion ...yep...I pretty much see this new CBR as just being ....sad. Its no longer fun Donald. Its like giving people too much control over...EVERYTHING.

You got the link to the facebook Rita's ? I'll be hanging out there 90% of the time.

If CBR becomes what I enjoyed about it...maybe. But deleting threads ...and deleting one asking if this was the Classics Comics new forum ...its just showing me its too far gone. I hate to stop coming by this place. But its no longer fun anymore.
