Well things are okay here, we had a bit of effect from the typhoon. But 3 US military members were somehow swept away by the ocean, one was confirmed dead. It is a sad story.

Sad indeed, especially since I used to be in the military. Meanwhile, how many typhoons have you had this year? Japan must be pretty much battered by them.

3pm, still sitting in the training department with nothing to do. I hate to sound like the responsible one but damn if they won't let me do my job then they better find something for me to do until I get back to full duty sometime between Thanksgiving and February.

Several typhoons have impacted here, but only one directly hit this island. This last one happened to impact both Okinawa and mainland (Honshu).

The two US airmen are still missing.

Some parts of Kadena are along shore. And the Okuma beach resort is part of Kadena too.

More detail was released, the missing persons are actually temporary duty, visiting from Georgia. Still missing as of now.
