Went through my first annual employee feedback as an employee of the US government. It went pretty well so I can exhale a bit.

On a lighter note, Halloween's one of my favorite "holidays" but being out of the US takes some of the joy out of it.

Hope you can get some of the joy renewed out there.

Well this has been a really depressing day so far. I wake up today at 6 (around 3 and half hours ago) to sirens. I get out of my room and there are paramedics all over my house. My Dad has a heart attack or something even the doctors are flip flopping on what happened, but He has to be kept at the hospital till late Saturday or early Sunday. The doctors are keeping him cold so he won't have any brain damage when he hopefully gets better.

2) if they have an action plan (keeping him cold), that's a good sign, they are expecting a recovery of some kind, and therefore are taking precautions to avoid brain damage (or at least lessen any damage). . . another way of saying, hopefully they got to him in time.

3) don't obsess. . .if they are saying he has to be in a hospital only thru Saturday/Sunday (and today is Thurs.). . that's a GREAT sign.
They would NOT be giving you a date (at all) if there was any chance it is worse than it looks.

Well at least I get to start my weekend early

I just left the hospital and I'm just at home watching over the house.

I'm the only one here keeping it together and I'm trying to keep everyone calm.

Remember to also find some time and space for yourself to vent some of emotions you might be feeling. It's tough being the person who provides comfort to the rest of the family; it's easy to underestimate the stress which this may cause you.

Really annoyed today. Went out with a friend to the comic store and they had literally nothing interesting. Couldn't find anything (And its the biggest in London)
Then I couldn't find FIFA 15 on Xbox 360. And now my Converse arrived. Damaged ;L
