The new 52 Omac was sort of DC's version of the Hulk.

No, Orion is more like a grumpy Thor, with way more daddy issues.
To top it off, Kevin Kho was also asian. He was a totally awesome hulk before Amedeus Cho was. Hulk fans who didn't like Waid's run called OMAC the best hulk book on the stands.
Not dc as such but maul from the wildcats (wildstorm) I think he's quite similar to hulk.
RAMPAGE!
Female, but a scientist mutated in an explosion. In her initial appearances (back in Byrne's Superman run late 80's) she was just a growling moster.
Later appearances, she gained the ability to speak etc.Rampage_Faulkner.jpg
Beastboy, if he catches you eating any kind of meat!

Like others have said here, the Kevin Kho OMAC. Which was the New 52 series. Frikkin' awesome series.
In the Bruce Timm DC Animated Universe cartoon Justice League & Justice League Unlimited, Solomon Grundy was absolutely the Hulk.
I think a lot of Dc's counterparts to Marvel Superheros are villains.
Hulk-Solomon Grundy
Captain America-Deathstroke
Hercules- Hercules (duh)
Reed Richards-Hank Henshaw
Iron Man- Lex Luthor
Not a 'man-into-monster', but would Shazam count? I mean in a kind of smaller, let's say weaker character being able to turn into a larger, much more powerful character?

I had a lot of sympathy for poor Mark Desmond. He wasn't a villain, just an unfortunate young man who met with a sad fate. And really quite the downer for a "New Look" Batman foe, when comics were supposed to be lighter.
Here was Mark with his great intellect, but turned into the dim-witted Blockbuster. Normally, Batman stories in the '60s had an uplifting ending. Surely the Caped Crusader would find a way to cure Mark and restore his intellect. But no. It never happened. Bruce never made any effort to find a solution to Mark's predicament.
Blockbuster was a harsh lesson in reality. Bad things happen to good people and nobody does anything about it.
You know, I'm surprised that I didn't think of it sooner, but Etrigan the Demon could be seen as a sort of Hulk-like figure. Jason Blood and Etrigan are two separate consciousnesses inhabiting one body so to speak. Jason calls on Etrigan whenever he wants to do battle, much like Bruce has to Hulk out.

Definitely Solomon Grundy and Colossus(Marvel Deadpool)equivalent to Hulk last time he appeared on DC Legends of Tomorrow in Netflix TV mini-series.
didnt marvel start as timely comics in 1938
