The Hellfire Club hasn't released the Terrigen Cloud.
And she mainly snapped at Rogue because simpleton Anna Marie felt the need to snark at Emma (a woman very much still in mourning, but apparently screw that because she is TPTB's chosen scapegoat for this steaming pile).
It was mainly a defensive insult thrown at Rogue. I don't think Emma seriously considers Psynapse to be the biggest evil. And you'd think Rogue would show a little compassion and respect for Scott and his memory, even if she hates Emma and thinks she shouldn't be there. Why snark at Emma instead of at least attempting to show concern and tell her that she's going through trauma and so may not be in the position to make the best laid out plans?
Rogue has the best excuse right? It is very similar to what (teen)Cyclops think :"since when is self-preservation our primary goal? we're supposed to be frigging X-men."
and that's true. X-men should be better than Inhumans who care only about their survival.
That was what made X-men great. They were protecting humans even when they were making mistakes.
and don't forget that Emma and Magneto and Storm spent months to create this plan without telling anyone about this. They don't have knowledge about this plan.
Confuzzled :
She showed more than rest? And you'd think Rogue would show a little compassion and respect for Scott and his memory,
She didn't insult him at all ... She didn't compare him to Hitler... She didn't turn him into monster.
Rogue lost during vote right? X-men made their choice. Why snark at Emma instead of at least attempting to show concern and tell her that she's going through trauma and so may not be in the position to make the best laid out plans?
and Emma even before voting ignored Rogue. Why she should waste her time now?

The X-Men have a very short deadline to destroy the cloud or mutants are dead. That kind of pressure certainly affects how people will think. Clearly they have to destroy the remaining cloud.
But Emma Frost is still a villain. She lied to her teammates about Cyclops's death. If they had known the truth, that might have affected Storm's negotiations with Medusa, and perhaps things would have worked out differently. It's pretty big if a major X-Man leader dies from M-Pox. Also if you read All New X-Men, it is made clear Emma Frost has manipulated the others into going to war.
I agree
Nah They have other options.Clearly they have to destroy the remaining cloud.
and They also could tell something about this already even if they chose a war.

The biggest weak point was depending on Forge so much. What if he got killed? They would have needed other ways to destroy the cloud, and should have already had them. But with Emma revealed as the big bad, once that gets out to both sides, I think the Inhumans will help mutants destroy the cloud so that the royal family gets redeemed. Marvel won't want either side to look bad after this is over.
The Inhumans have an insane telepath who has controlled Medusa and Black Bolt, so they'll understand.
So glad to be getting more Javier Garron in the X-World before he gets swept away to the Inhumans.
He's very talented -- frumptastic Rogue not withstanding.
the way every x mans action is being called out by each other and the reader you would think they have no experience in fighting wars and thankfully the inhans don't seem to have a army of faceless alpha primitives or the like as then not only would they be screwed on the manpower front but also it could work as a delaying tactic and screw their timetable completely as they coudnt have overcome a sea of alpha primitives used as a annihilation wave.
How? The Terrigen Mists kills people, a faction of X-Men tried to stop it and failed. Storm decided on a truce after this, and followed it up with war after getting Beasts' news. What exactly changes if Emma did what Cyclops did? It does not change the current situation of the Mists. Black Bolt and Medusa believed it was the real Cyclops when they used lethal force so it does not change how reasonable the Inhumans ought to be perceived. It says something about Cyclops' who is a non factor on account of being dead.
The only reason for Storm to have made a different option is if this war is her revenge for Cyclops' death at the hands of the X-Men. Even though she is one of the people that sees Cyclops as a monster now.
Storm should have let Forge take Cerebra to teleport the machine instead of making him fly a jet. Also send a better bodyguard.
It's obvious some X-fans would rather the X-Men took some ridiculous moral high road and just die instead of taking action and saving their species. Peace at the cost of existence? *rolls eyes*
And let's say Emma had revealed Cyclops' death just after it happened. Storm and the other JGS staff still had Schism animosity towards him, and I doubt any of them would have decided to take immediate and decisive action against the terrigen clouds. They would have talked and negotiated with Medusa, and the two clouds would have dissipated, reaching the saturation point in 4 months instead of 8. Would they have gone to war at that point to save mutant lives? Debatable. Emma forced confrontation onto the X-Men so they could save the lives of mutants who can't fight for themselves. Whether her actions were selfish or insane or both or neither, she realized no one else was going to take the required action against the Inhumans so she forced the issue. Bless her for doing so. It was the right call. She's getting revenge AND saving mutant lives. Perfect.
