That might be one of the greatest things I've ever seen.

    Even she understands her place.
This is the Storm I love, not the current mess. I hope Pak gives her some of this back, grows her hair out, and gets her voice back to being heard.
Favorite X-men: Psylocke, Sage, Boom Boom, Rachel, Magic.

    Cool, thanks for the link!

I'm going to try to unearth my old photobucket account and use that for posting big pics.

Kevin Wada does some great X-women art and sometimes variant covers. Check his site.

Even Emma deserves better than what the artists and writers have done to her over the past decade. She was a Queen once, but now is reduced a scantily clad governess watching the master's kinds. Too bad the minds of Marvel can only see her as hot bod and not the brilliant bitch she once was.

Claremont is great but what was he thinking with this collaboration?

This what happens when you assume only gross guys want to read about the X-Women. Not a marvelous idea.

Oh my...that book was TERRIBLE. This made me glad Claremont did not have the reigns of an ongoing in current state (read it on MU). He really dropped a floater on this book.

As cheesecake as the whole story and art were, I actually thought it was still good! They were still shown to be powerful, competent characters, even bound-and-gagged with bamboo, or rolling in the mud with pigs. Classic Claremont. They didn't even want to rescue Emma at first, so true to character!

Let the flames destroy all but that which is pure and true!

He's writing a Nightcrawler ongoing at the moment.

As cool as the old guard are, I quite like some of the younger X-ladies as well. X-23, Jubilee (Marvel still treats her like she's young so it counts), Pixie, Tempus, etc.
