I think the person who escaped is Kon. From the scribbling on the wall, we know the person who was in that cell knew Superman closely. They knew his secret identity, his origin, etc.

AND it would explain Tim's reaction if the person he reacted to in the cell was Kon.

Ppl think because there are certain things they both share(hybrid and superboy name) they shouldn't share space,which is silly.wally and Barry,Hal and Kyle,dick and Jason,the list goes on that have certain things they share,but not the same person.

To me Jon is the new Billy batson type character,with the wonderment of being a child and having powers,while Kon is humans recreating their greatest champion closer to their own image.

Nothing in common,plenty of room for both,totally 2 different stories

-Consciously controlled TTK
-TK hyper acceleration
-Tactile.senses
-Kryptonian level powers
-confident in himself
-Very smart and strategic

Add that to a kesel original/YJ TV show cocktail,and you have the perfect kon

Maybe a Kon that was driven mad by being locked up.look at all the "please" and "save me",that's someone who has been there for A very long time IMO.

I think new 52 Kon is with Harvest being a mindless weapon,so he can go to you know where,and pre Kon (if we get him back) is somewhere in a cloning pod buried under Cadmus.

I can see it being superboy prime,which I don't want,but it's DC,they give you what you don't want,and you have to bitch for years to get what you actually do want

Superboy prime would be my guess because he is the only one powerful enough to be able to escape.

I know. it seems like a no brainer. The new 52 version had some good points like you mentioned and with Jon around carrying the Superboy name, it's not a bad idea to preserve those tricks and make him stand out more.

He's no more redundant than Dick Grayson is despite having three other Robins after him. He'll just move on to a more mature role. His own man with ties to Superman but not his sidekick (granted unlike Robin he never was a true-to-form sidekick, but they did play with that "next in line" role like Dick).

Yeah i agree, put Kon in the titans/teen titans, and leave Jon with superman, hoping for Conner to return too, imo, the more pre-flashpoint that comes back the better
