The young/new Inhumans who were forcibly transformed by the roving terrigen crystal meth cloud seem nice enough once they aren't serving the cult of Medusa. They can stay and be friendly with the X-Men. The Inhuman cult leaders/royalty need to GTFO. Oh, wait, that's what happens. Awesome.

nope. Marvel may think it's doing the Inhumans a favor by tethering them with the X-Men, but the result has merely been a burgeoning fanbase having to cope with the toxicity of jaded, ever-complaining x-fans. The sooner the two franchises part ways the better.

Burgeoning Inhuman fanbase? Perhaps thanks to Ms. Marvel or Moon Girl, not Medusa et al.

and you base this assumption off of what?
I'm not so sure why anyone would find it so threatening, but there is indeed a growing fan community for the Inhumans (for Kamala and Moon Girl, yes, but also for the Royals and Daisy Johnson other inhuman characters).

Heck no. I'm fed up with Marvel trying to boost sales of other teams by ramming them down the X-Fans throats.

It will probably happen if she does not die.

Of course within the story she may die, be arrested, become a pariah, the X-men and other heroes can treat her the same way they treated Scott but the fans and readers is another story.

I learned some things with AvX.

And if it's true that the story tends to repeat itself and Emma become the scapegoat as Cyclops was on AvX maybe we have a lot of memes supporting Emma when that story is over .

Besides it's hard to hate someone who lost a loved one by the mistake and selfishness of others.

I can see Emma frost in the final issue of Ivx deciding that she wants to go further than simply destroying the terrigen cloud and will want to kill medusa or the inhumans in general for retribution for the events of death of X that came with the deaths of hundreds of mutants and cyclops dying.

    Funny story!

I was a fantastic four fan back in the 80s/early 90s. I had a small allowance that didn't have a lot of leeway for comics, but once a month I would get my folks to take me to the comic shop to buy a book or two. So I got my FFs, and the rest of the Marvel Universe got a little attention, but not much. My friends who were in to comics were always talking about the X-men, and wolverine specifically... but even reading through the comics they all swore by, the X-Folks never hooked me. I just didn't care for them. Then the 90s became the Era of the X-Men, everyone else was pushed aside for the seemingly dozens of new Mutant characters that were being created and that coupled with losing anything to talk about with those other comic kids had me leave comic collecting by the wayside. Sure, I would pick up the occasional FF trade at a Barnes and Noble over the years, but I wasn't really a comic book reader anymore.

Then I worked with a guy who had decided he needed a hobby and took up comics. It was just as Secret Wars was underway in 2015, and it sounded interesting so I stepped for in my old comic shop for the first time in about 20 years. I was looking things over and I saw Attilan Rising and thought "hey, I know that name...that's from the Inhumans, they were always cool!" and picked it up. I kept going in and read through Secret Wars (culminating in a good ol' Reed Vs Doom showdown, alright!) and saw that the Inhumans had there very own titles. I am back to being a comic reader because of the Royals and, while I like some of the NuHumans like Naja and Iso, it's the older inhuman characters that have gotten me back. I have gone back and picked up a lot of the trades, been an ardent follower of their ongoings, and even gotten to the point where if it is a new character tied to the Inhuman mythos I give it a shot (Ms. Marvel didn't do it for me, but Mosaic is awesome.)

So, there is a fan base for these characters. Some of us are new, some of us are old, and some of us are prodigal sons returning to the hobby.... but we are here. In some cases we like X-men as well, in some cases we like different stuff (The oppressed outsider has never been an archetype I have been in to, whereas the interrelationships of a tight family unit is a real draw) but that doesn't make us any less deserving of people's respect on these boards.

I don't know about that the house of m/decimation kept on being brought up several times over the years I think they stopped referencing the event around 2014 at least in the X-men titles and it was very similar in that there's lots of mutants being killed.

I know why they stopped referencing it though but bendis will occasionally bring up the story or some other X-men writer it was brought up in the oath even but yeah it was something that I think marvel at least is trying to move away from but with the scarlet witch house of m/decimation situation it made sense why they're trying to move on from that story.

But it really remains to be seen how much or how significantly death of X or even Ivx will be brought up in the X-men books post Ivx.

thanks for sharing this. I'm a big fan of the Inhumans, The X-Men, and the Fantastic Four. There's definitely more then enough room for fandoms of various franchises and you're absolutely right there there is no need be derisive toward another's favorites. Well said.
