Well yeah I guess Bizarro would say that. He gets everything backwards.

Don't talk about the King, talk about Bizarro instead. Me can help normal way I talk. What's your least fave Kirby, CliffFaller?

Kamandi was the only DC Kirby title that regularly impressed me back in the day. And I didn't enjoy any of his mid-'70s work at Marvel. His greatest work on a title was probably Fantastic Four, where he helped lay much of the foundation for the Marvel Universe, and created many memorable characters.

    Love EVERYTHING Kirby.
Even him and Joe Simon's romance stuff.

I'm an addict and I have a problem.

New Gods is the reason I kept reading comics. When I was 8 I was getting a little bored with regular superhero fare and might have quit if I didn't stumble upon New Gods in a back issue bin. I bought a bunch of issues at $1 each, pretty much wiping out my pocket money, but it was worth it.

Suffice it to say I love all things Kirby, but the Fourth World books remain my personal favourites.

OMAC had some intriguing and original worldbuilding going on, especially as it started touching upon other continuities via the Great Disaster. I quite liked it.
Writeups.org -- huge encyclopaedia of characters, chiefly from super-hero comic books. It's great.

For Kirby fans, the Mark Evanier big art book on Kirby is a must.
I also enjoyed "Hand of Fire" a great deal. It is an academic look at Kirby's art, but worth the read.

Anybody here read silver star? It was kooky Kirby and I dug that about the series. Are they gonna make a second Kamandi volume? That first one has a heavy ass ending

Silver Star was off the wall haha. The villain's origin had some hilarious moments. There is a Kamandi volume 2 Omnibus that came out a couple of years ago.
