Probably something I've always wanted to see post-Flashpoint with the inclusion of the Wildstorm characters into the DCU proper. One of the big foundation characters to Jim Lee's Image/Wildstorm was the elite team of soldiers, Team-7. Who ended up being used against their will as guinea pigs being exposed to a mutagenic compound in the course of a mission to see what would happen. They ended up gaining psionic abilities. Basically the "Expendables meets Chronicle". Could always see Waller siccing Task Force X on Team-7 when Cole Cash, Jackson Dane, Marc Slayton, and the rest go rogue. Make for a good flick.

The Ostrander run often had stories in-between.

So and so Dictator of a small country is financing terrorism against the US. They can't send the JL without causing an international incident, so The Squad is sent to dispatch him. (Meanwhile dictator has hired protection of his own)

I would have loved to see the first SS movie go up against their classic rivals, the Jihad. (Maybe a more modern version of them) in the first film.

Jihad, with another name of course, would have been the perfect villains for the first movie. Weaponized metahumans bein mass produced, killed at too high an expense for US army. Enter SS.

I'd love Sasha Baron Cohen as a bad guy. No need to go over The Dictator again but there are a lot of things he could do as an over the top baddie.

I really want a more straightforward movie with the Suicide Squad joining a revolution to overthrow a tyrant. That would be fun as they could do stuff like train people to fight the enemy and that could be pretty fun.

Something like that would be fun as the moral ambiguity of the anti heroes of the story could be a really interesting thing to cover.

It could make for some funny comic relief. In the comic they were thinking about putting Zod on the team I'm thinking doomsday's the next best thing lol.

Some truly bad guys are thrown on the team and betray the original members. They could maybe have mid credits scenes in the next DCU movies where Waller conscripts Deathstroke, Black manta , Reverse Flash (?) etc. and wind up in SS2.

Deadshot ends up killing a new SS member (Captain Nazi?): "oops, trigger musta slipped"

Croc dies heroically and is replaced by ...Tasmanian Devil . Harley : "Geez, how many Aussies are there gonna be on this team?"
Tas is a gay green activist Aussie at odds with bogan (redneck) Boomerang...
