color me old school but Ms. Marvel is the only one of the new generation, on the bottom level that I care for more than the character above them. Mar-vell reigns and seeing Ross draw him is always a delight.
So we have:
-male with a male legacy (Steven Rogers and Sam Wilson)
-male with female legacy (Thor and Jane Foster)
-female with a female legacy (Carol Danvers and Kamala Khan)
What? No female with a male legacy? (Unless I missed something)
That's always been a major issue with comics in general. I always found it weird that wonder woman never had a boy sidekick like wonder boy. There's something about comics where women for some reason can't seem to influence young men, only the reverse. I've notice this issue for a long time and this poster only compounds that. Like I would really hope with how popular Thor is that she influences a young boy to become kid thor or somthing.

Good point and idea.
Hmm, yeah, but with Hank it was sort of didn't work, unless I remembered it wrong, which could happen.
I'm not saying you're wrong, just they didn't make a big deal of it or it didn't catch on like the others; again, I could be mistaken.

I don't know the history of this character but about Quasar? Does she count for the female-male mantle relay?

Well, I wouldn't say it was an iconic part of his history, but Hank was the Wasp for a good deal of time (the entirety of Dark Reign and some of the Heroic Age), so I feel it should count .
Quasar is an interesting question.
I mean, you go from Wendell to Phyla, to back to Wendell (I think), and now from Wendell to Avril Kincaid.

Ah, yeah, knew I forgot something. Sorry.
Wasn't there supposed to be a new female Quasar in recent times? I think I remember Marvel hyping it or something. Did it never happen ala female Blade?
These are male versions of female heroes. Now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever seen any female superhero have a male counterpart in legacy; they are usually the legacy themselves. Can someone shed a light on this, and perhaps provide an example of such dynamic?
