Do people miss the Fantastic Four yet?

Besides the fans, are people missing the Fantastic Four yet? If not, how much longer away until they will?

Or maybe you think they will never be missed.

To be honest, I don't miss them at all. With all the bad writing and mishandling of the characters in both comics and in the films, I think it's time they enjoy a nice rest. Hopefully when Marvel gets the movie rights back and has a great writer that things will improve with them.

No. I only cared about them when Hickman was writing them, otherwise I wouldn't read their books.

I don't think the answer is to bring the book back and give it to someone who isn't up to the task.

Little sidebar, one of the letter writers in Ultimates² asked Marvel to bring back the FF because he misses them and Ewing replied that like Bucky Barnes, you can't count out the FF, but that he doesn't yet know when they'll be back.

That's... Really not optimistic considering how much time it took for Bucky to come back.

I guess for me "miss" isn't really the right word for me, since I didn't really start reading Marvel comics till last year (besides X-men wish I had a few graphic novels since I was a kid). And by then Marvel already ended their comics. But luckily for me there are still plenty of Fantastic Four comics that I could read, and they will be new for me. That being said I really do wish they had a comic again. This week I just bought The Fantastic Four: Strange Days Epic Collection and book 1 of the Fantastic Four Ultimate Collection by Waid and Wieringo. So far out of the Fantastic Four characters Susan and Val are my favorites.

Haven't been keeping up with Ultimates. How is it not a real team book?

I miss the Fantastic Four as an entity in the Marvel universe and as a Marvel title, and I hope they come back soon.
