So, Marvel's got this coming out this summer.
That poster honestly takes my breath away. What do you think DC's response will be?

Maybe they'll reprint John Byrne's Generations series at the same time, just cause.
Or I guess the JSA could pop back at that time, what better way to showcase the "generations" of DC than with the return of their first super-team?
Depends.
If they are reserved, their response will probably be something like this:
If they decide to show their true emotions, their response will probably be something like this:
Comics were definitely happier, breezier and more confident in their own strengths before Hollywood and the Internet turned the business of writing superhero stories into the production of low budget storyboards or, worse, into conformist, fruitless attempts to impress or entertain a small group of people who appear to hate comics and their creators. -- Grant Morrison, 2008
trade-waiting - Ice Cream Man, Monstress
backlog - Blade of the Immortal, Mignolaverse, Promethea, X-Cutioner's Song
Well Rebirth is doing good as is, so DC shouldn't be concerned with another forced Marvel event, even if Alex Ross is on art. But my guess is LOSH or JSA one might show-up in a book to lead-up to their ongoing.
There's a Time For Peace, and Then There's a Time To Punch Nazi Scumbags in the Face!!
It doesn't really need one. It's Marvels answer to Rebirth basically.
DC's already doing a good job reigniting legacies.
Is this suppose to be a big deal? Alex Ross isn't really even that great of an artist...

I think DC is focusing on fixing things then competing with Competition. It's pretty clear DC is making more profit than they did with New 52 and DC You so I don't expect DC to panic now.
I don't think DC will really have a problem with it it's not like DC wants marvel to fail as a competitor or even a company/publisher.
Rebirth Phase 3 (JSA, Legion, probably some other titles).
Well...they don't really need to do anything, that haven't killed/disgraced a ton of their characters like the entire old guard in that pic.
Never mind

I really do hate to say it, but...isn't that kind of true, though? I mean, DC had to do Rebirth because their universe felt empty after Flashpoint, like nothing important had ever happened in the DCU and no character had ever evolved. But Marvel, well...they maintained it all. So, they don't have to bend over backwards to bring classic characters back because its not like they erased them from existence.
