Have a blue "1" on the first issue as opposed to the other rebirth titles which are all standard black issue numbers?
Have a blue "1" on the first issue as opposed to the other rebirth titles which are all standard black issue numbers?
Pulling:
Batman, Detective Comics, The Sentry, Mister Miracle, Venom
If it sells more copies ergo more money, then sure. Batwoman Rebirth #1 and JLA Rebirth #1 seem to be sticking to standard black.
Of course, there's also the chance that DC just accidentally colored it blue same as the DC logo and they left it like that because it's already gone to printing and it's too late to change the issue number to black.
Currently Following:
Action Comics, Deathstroke, Red Hood and the Outlaws, Super Sons, Superman, Superwoman, Teen Titans, Titans, Trinity, Wild Storm, Monstress, I Hate Fairyland, Black Monday Murders, Kill Or Be Killed, Redlands, Crosswind, Astonishing X-Men, Captain America, Daredevil, Defenders, Hawkeye, Tales of Suspense, American Gods, Animosity, Black Eyed Kids, Red Sonja
There was a shortage of black ink at the printers that day.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
Only the main cover tho. Variants have a black #1.
