Right?! IMO, Jason should be right below Bruce, somewhere on Dick's level or in that tier

I don't see her above Jason but defnitally above Steph. Tim is hard to place post flashpoint, we don't know much about his training and his size changes drastically from artist to artist.

If we go by the old continuity, he was in their first team ups (Tims 3rd mini) at the beginning of his career definitely not on her level, at the end of the continuity it is hard to say since they didn't team up anymore at the time.

    What did I said?

King is a smart fella. He even calls it a nerd battle as it ensues.

    "..below Ace"

Ah you devil, I`d love to see you attempt it

I buy into the "Dick has been trained since he was like five years old in gymnastics, acrobatics, and muscle ... and then at 10 Batman trained him for combat and he never stopped" arguments for why he'd outrank Bruce. I'd still say that in spite of being great sparring partners, if they were really going at it for "hurting each other" reasons, Bruce would win that fight, because he pushes harder, breaks more bones, and doesn't have some of the "I'm nice, I shouldn't mangle this guy" hang-ups that Dick naturally has. But if you're talking skill + talent, strictly, yeah sure, Grayson's got the moves.

Anyway, fun stuff. Richard Dragon and Shiva should be able to curb stomp all of them.
Shiva is #1 as we're all about to find out on Wednesday.

Finally, someone who makes sense. Lobdell brings up All Caste and he's right, Jason should be way higher on the list. King's list is laughable.

I hope they do. I would love to see their lists.

Heck, I would love to see former writers like Morrison weigh in.

Duke is still training so he should not be above anyone Dick & Bruce should just be on the same level. IMO the combat ranking have ultimately been detrimental to Bat books. Bateman & Robin originated in Detective Comics not Ninja Comics. This is what's important for me in terms of Bat family skill level.

World Class Detective - Highly Trained, experienced, and skilled at their craft
Batman - Nightwing - Oracle - Red Robin - *Alfred

Regional Class Detective - Highly Trained, marginally experienced, and reaching World Class level
Red Hood - Batwoman - Huntress

City Class Detective - Highly Trained, novice experienced, reaching Regional Class
Robin - Batgirl - Black Bat - Azrael

Amateur Class - Still in Training, no experience, reaching city class
    Duke - Blue Bird -

    Nightwing over Batman?

    Nope.

Bruce, at worst, is the second best fighter. And that's only because Cass is even more ridiculously overpowered than he is.

I think the ranking is based on who King likes, wrote and who DC is currently pushing into the spotlight.
    It's not really objective.
Cass is basically a meta human, so she's first.
    Bruce should be over Dick.
Jason should be 3rd with Dick or 4th.
But other writers just love to ignore Lobdell's work.
Helena should not count as part of the Batfamily atleast for now.
    So Babs is in.
The rest is difficult to rank, but Damian, Duke & Steph should be the bottom three.

Admittedly my Jason Todd knowledge is lacking. I thought there was magic involved. Badass purple flaming swords?
