    Default The Pitiful Human Lizard

Sometimes I scan the indie titles on comixology looking for stuff that's sub-$3 to check out, and now I just have to shout-out/recommend this obscure superhero book I found a while back. Tonally, it's very similar to The Tick, but as a comic it also reminds me of some of the humor in Superior Foes of Spiderman. It's really quite charming and I doubt anyone would regret giving it a shot at 1.99 for the first issue, at least. For the record, it's published by Chapter House comics and came out, or was reprinted, in 2015.

OMG this sounds amazing, thanks so much for the rec! Love the Tick and Superior Foes so this sounds like it's right up my alley.
Just checked and the second trade is due out soon. Already love this description:

"Our hero teams up with surprising new allies (spoiler alert: one of them is his mom) and takes on his greatest adversary yet: unreliable public transit!"

You can find some really cool stuff. Its like browsing the B movie section. Sometimes stuff in there just didn't get the right attention.
I found this one once (I'll have to go back and find the name) and it was this not very well drawn sci fi comic. It was pretty sub par aesthetically.

But damn, it was some GOT level plot line. I've considered reaching out to some of them to see if they want to remake a first issue.
