Well, DC basically has no new books in May. They're taking things a lot slower than Marvel, which I like. Every new month, Marvel cancels and launches so many ongoings it's hard to keep up.
I love how stable things seem to be right now. Sure, some cancellations are probably coming, but since DC isn't going so crazy and launching tons of books there's zero demand for, at least we can expect a somewhat sizable run from their ongoings and we don't have rethink our DC pull-list on a month-to-month basis.

    Thoughts:

    - Is there really any doubt that Jaime will take up the Scarab permanently ?

    - Sounds like Thawne is definitely back now, and barry is actually going to take the fight to his time for once. Though it also sounds like things with Iris and Wally II are falling apart.

    - I guess it was only a matter of time before we got an "Atlanteans try to usurp Aquaman" storyline. I wonder if this is going to lead to Orm's return?

    - Woah, Cheshire? Could we finally see her meet Roy in Green Arrow ?

    - It's about time that Simon and Jessica headed to Mogo to recieve proper GL training, though it sounds like their partnership and status on 2814 might be in danger from the new truce with the Sinestro Corps.

    - I'm sure there will be fans happy that it looks like we won't be dealing with another villain connected to the Emotional Spectrum in the next arc of Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps.

    - I don't know what sounds more interesting, a romance between Ryan Choi and Killer Frost or Black Canary and Lobo working on a casino caper. Though building up a romance between Killer Frost and Atom makes me wonder, once again, where the heck Firestorm is...

    - Looking forward to seeing what we learn about the Titans' history from the new Judas Contract and what Slade's efforts against both teams in the "Lazarus Contract" will result in.

Eh, I'll take things settling down and cooling before we hit the next major points of Rebirth over constant events and shock value twists that Marvel tends to churn out on a consistent basis.

Nothing stands out as incredibly exciting for me, I guess I'm looking forward to Action Comics the most. Think i'm gonna skip that Titans/Teen Titans/Deathstroke crossover, i'm only readying Titans and don't really want to get 3 extra books that month. Still on the fence whether to pick up that Bane series or just see how it turns out and grab the trade. Oh hey, Dark Knight 3, you still exist!(I am looking forward to finishing that but I can barely remember the last issue at this point).

    I hope so!

    ^THIS^ times ten!

I am so very much looking forward to The Lazarus Contract restoring classic New Teen Titans continuity. I know not everything will be the same, of course. But I suspect we're all going to be pleasantly surprised by how much they return to canon. Can...not...wait!!

Oh, and a Harley Quinn/Rick Flagg romance is a thing in Suicide Squad? Seriously ?

still...the premises of some of these books are a bit lackluster...like why did we need two bane story arcs in a row from Tom King's Batman?

you could focus on any other villain but somehow Bane Gets Top Biling In Two Story Arcs one after the next

Exactly. That's what I fear too. I'm sure these issues will be just as enjoyable but yeah, I found the Marvel solicits to be more exciting for me. Not trying to start a DC/Marvel debate at all, just wondering if I was alone in thinking that haha.

Because he's a big Batman villain and that's the way Tom King wanted to tell his story, in building Bane back up to the villain he once was?

To be fair, Marvel is going into event-mode, so things probably do seem a little more lively.

I don't look at it as arcs so much as acts. King's Batman has really been one story told in multiple parts, and he said back in August that the book was already plotted out to issue 25. He's got a specific story that's being told.

I'm cautiously optimistic that his run just might finally be turning a corner.

When I said JLA, I actually meant Orlando's JLA series.

    So for me
-Detective comics- happy that spoiler is not being ignored completely, is the ally Batwoman after seeing the tease in her rebirth issue.
-Nightwing-Ugh Blockbuster, weirdly I would have preferred if Javi Fernandez drew this arc as it better suits his style and this is coming from someone who prefers Marcus To, shame scheduling means this is not possible.
    -Lazarus contract
    -Titans
    -Teen titans+annual
    -Deathstroke
-Superman- Not too excited for this one but I like the writer.
-B&BOP- happy this is a shorter arc then the first.
    -Super sons
