New Spider-Woman solo?

As much as I wanted a Spiderwoman book, the creative team leaves a lot to be desired for me. Especially the artist.

Basically this, exactly. I've been hoping for a Jess solo and, with almost any other artist, would have bought every issue no question. As it stands though, I'll give it a shot in the hopes that the artist is only on for the first arc (or at the very least is rotating with someone else). If not, I'm not sure I see myself sticking around.

Yeah! I loved Spider-Woman's last book and was gutted when it ended. Glad she is getting another shot and I'm a big fan of Hopeless so I'll definitely check it out.

lol, yes because Bendis can't write coherent stories that move at something faster than glacial, it's the character's fault.

I'm excited for this. Especially if Land can come with his Mighty Avengers game.

I don't know about this one, folks. You have one of the most reviled artist out there in Greg Land and then you add Hopeless (allegedly) into the mix (whose name has been dragged into mud due to Avengers Arena & Underground).
Doesn't sound too promising however, I'll check the first issue. Jessica Drew has always been one of Marvel's underrated characters.

I would say that makes a great reason. There needs to be a chaser to get rid of the aftertaste.

But Land doing Jessica seems like nails on a chalkboard to me... as does sticking Jessica in the Spider-"Verse."

I think you mean Hopless' name was made by Arena. He won a Harvey Award for it.

If the new Spider-Woman series is connected to some of Spider-Man rogue galleries, like The Jackal, Carnage, and the Hobgoblin, then it would be a cool series.
