    Default Edge of Venomverse!

    So this is happening http://www.cbr.com/marvel-comics-edg...se-miniseries/

I wonder if the focus will be on Venom and Eddie Brock and if other fan-favorite symbiote characters like Toxin, Mania, Anti-Venom, Hybrid and Carnage will also get to make appearances. Or if it will more akin Edge of Spider-verse and each of the five issues will have a different hero's story of how they have improved or become a nightmare version of themselves by bonding with a symbiote.

Also, the words "Edge of" may imply there is a larger event or spin-off series coming right after this one (ala Spider-verse).

    So, three questions:

    1. Which heroes (or villains) do you want to see Venom-fied?

    2. Which artists and writers you think or hope will get involved?

    3. Any favorite symbiote character you want to see in this event or in a spin-off series?

    For me:

    1. Kaine the Scarlet Spider: spider powers + poor anger management + symbiote = fun.

    2. Cullen Bunn, Declan Shalvey, Kim Jacinto and Mike Henderson and Gerry Conway.

    3. Anti-venom, Mania and Toxin... and Flash Thompson!

S***. This is gonna be so awesome. My inner 90s kid is bursting with glee. And why the shock not? If Spider-Man can have his Spider-Verse, why not Venom with his/its/their Venom-Verse?

To answer your questions, though . . .

    1. All the Spider-People (Peter Parker himself, Miles Morales, Miguel O'Hara, the Scarlet Spiders, Jessica Drew, Cindy Moon, Spider-Gwen, Julia Carpenter, Anya Corazon), plus Mary Jane Watson and Black Cat. It's time the awesome fanart got canonized!

    2. Rick Remender, Cullen Bunn, Zeb Wells, Robbie Thompson, and Gerry Conway for writers, Clayton Crain, Ryan Stegman, Marco Checchetto, Declan Shalvey, and Gerardo Sandoval for artists.

    3. Andi Benton/Mania, Jubulile van Scotter (a shockingly angelic-looking symbiote hybrid in Carnage's final issue), Tanis Nieves/Scorn, and Spider-Carnage.
The spider is always on the hunt.

The symbiote’s other worldly origins were explored and explained
Yeah, didnt this retcon destroy the whole notion that they are evil? How are they going to do a story where everyone get infected if this thing is supposed to be a space guardian now?

but the new host is one Lee Price, a former Army Ranger with a massive, violent chip on his shoulder. The symbiote, who is now fully sentient and desires to do good, has found itself subjugated to Price’s will, forced to perform terrible, violent acts against its wishes.
Oh.... by creating another retcon. Now the symbiote cant leave whenever it wants.

Well, they are likely doing the Flash thing of symbiote being drugged.
