Besides the main ongoing Star Wars license, Marvel also had the cartoon Ewoks and Droids lines.

The Doctor doesn't appear in FF#338. The images you posted of him dropping Death's Head off on top of Four Freedoms Plaza is from Death's Head's own series.

So when these happen does Marvel (DC or whoever is doing them) pay for these licenses ?
Or do the companies pay Marvel (DC, etc.) to develop them?

    Akira - Epic imprint

Interesting bit of trivia, it was one of the first digitally colored comics leading to the whole industry adopting the method soon afterwards.

Also not pictured but Marvel can always brag they were the first ones to make a super Mario comic! Mario and donkey both showed up in a marvel comic before the 90s comics and mangas!

Fun thread. I'm an '80s child and it's bringing back memories of the cartoons I used to watch.

Tigersharks the 3rd thundercats spin-off. Silverhawks and tigersharks had cameos in the last thundercats series.

I'd love to see ROM and Red Sonja back in the fold

On another note can Marvel still use the Spaceknights like Ikon, Sentry, Pulsar, Terminator, Starshine etc...?

So is it fair to say that G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero was Marvel's most successful licensed comic? It lasted for 155 issues after all.

Conans original book lasted 275 issues not counting spin-off comics and trades!

Really? It always thought she was a maxies world spin-off or something like that. Didn't know that. Also the other covers to that series are as 80s as can be!
