Manipulating Hope back into Comics

My Warped and would love to see happen/theory is Superboy- Prime tries to bring the hope and happiness of old comics into the new rebirth dc universe. On the opposite side its Dr. Manhattan with his cynism keeping dark and Gloomy.

This would be my hope against odds. Simple and Precise.

The only way this would make sense is if Superboy Prime was positively affected by the events of Convergence; in other words, he never went off to the pocket dimension with Kal-L, Lois, and Alex Luthor. Instead, he grew to be a great hero on Earth-Prime and decides to get involved when he sees what's become of the DCU.

I doubt, however, that DC will be retconning his past. Johns loves Prime as a villain and will almost certainly return him to the DCU in that capacity.
