    Default Weapons of Mutant Destruction

    http://www.newsarama.com/33495-x-men...017-event.html

"This summer, Marvel's Totally Awesome Hulk and Weapon X will crossover in an event titled "Weapons of Mutant Destruction." The story, written by Greg Pak, the regular writer of both series, will begin in Totally Awesome Hulk #19 before continuing in a Mahmud Asrar drawn one-shot titled Weapons of Mutant Destruction Alpha, and subsequent issues of both series. The story was previously teased with piece of art nicknamed "Hulkverine" that showed a Hulk/Wolverine mash-up."

I really don't want to buy a Hulk comic to get the whole story and it's way too early for a Weapon X crossover. I guess they needed to try and save TAH from cancellation?

It's funny how resurrixion hasn't even started yet, and they're already announcing an event. Lol.

Edit: I'm still reading it, regardless. Lol.

First of all, I hope somebody picks up that phone because I F***ING CALLED IT

Second, I'm all for sensible crossovers between a handful of titles vs. big-ass sprawling 'events' that invariably disappoint. Having the same writer across the whole thing keeps it neat and tidy, too.

Third, any excuse to have more Domino drawn by people whose names don't rhyme with 'Dreg Band' is a very very good thing.
The X-Books Board is wretched and does not deserve the Domino Appreciation Thread.

I'll check it out. I'm a huge Weapon X mark.

At least this event seems self-contained instead of a "BIG, AWESMAZING ENTIRE MARVEL UNIVERSE EVENT CHANGES LITERALLY EVERYTHINGFOREVER till the next one"

Yep, I'm cool with "crossovers" like this for the reasons stated above. Looking forward to it even if Champions has made me dislike Amadeus.
