Doesn't everyone else already do to mutants what J. Jonah Jameson does to Spider-Man? I mean, sure, it sucks to be Peter Parker, but I don't remember the last time that there was an entire nation dedicated to enslaving him, multiple hate groups dedicated to the genocide of Spider-Men (Morlun's family doesn't count, that's just the food chain), government initiatives to register/hunt down/weaponize Spider-Mans, or bad futures where giant robots have taken over the world to hunt Spider-Man through the timestream.

I mean, this is the Marvel Universe. What could the Daily Bugle do to make the situation worse for a minority population whose members can hypothetically be BFFs with half the Avengers and all the Fantastic Four, save the universe with their ability to make their horrible facial warts fire lasers, then get pelted by garbage and racial slurs by random schmoes with the survival instincts of a professional chainsaw molestor?

He's also supported civil rights and stood up against organized crime too, to the point of being targeted by the Kingpin.

Also if it comes to a physical fight Louis is going down. There's at least one comic scan out there of JJJ beating up demons with a piece of broken furniture.

I do remember one time JJ was getting mugged at gun point, and when the mugegrs happened to mention that they thought the Bugel was garbage, Jonah went berserk on them and beat them down.

I'm pretty sure there was at least one incident where she went one against one with Mercy, Lex Luthor's bodyguard, and held her own.
