so are you only using stuff that's still canon? Or are you cool with going thru in order and including the rebooted stuff?

Like pre-crisis, post crisis, new 52, rebirth and so on...or are you trying to make a timeline of stuff that still "counts" in the superman lore?

EDIT: If post-crisis...you could start with Byrne.

Do you have "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow" in the mix? That is basically the "end" of everything before the Byrne reboot kicks in...and it's a top 5 Superman story. Alan Moore and Curt Swan. Should be able to find a cheap TPB version that you could include in a bind.

One thing you could even do is come up with an intro..."The story so far...." type of thing...print it and insert up front then go with the Man of Tomorrow story and into more modern stuff.

You could even do it as a timeline with images...just include all the golden age/silver age highlights here:

    First appearance
    Intro of Kryptonite
    Intro of Lex

and so on...and so on....You could do that regardless of what actual books you use as your starting point.

Exactly...use art some some short paragraphs to tell his story...then maybe do Whatever Happened...(the Moore story) and go into the post-crisis from there.

This sketch was $180. The sketches I’ve gotten range from free to around $200.

I must be out of the loop, that sounds steep. Is it a time-thing or do some charge more?
In my experience, it depends on the artist. $180 is standard for a Nolan bust. He had already signed and done some free remarques for me at the show, and I was happy to pay the $180.

This Bane omnibus primarily features the art of Graham Nolan and David Finch. A 9x12” headsketch from Finch will be $350. I’m still debating on getting that done.

Is that just not the standard Times New Roman font? Pretty sure it is, if not it's awfully similar
